All,
After 4 years of lurking, thinking and planning, I’ve finally placed my order.
289 Complete Kit
Powder coating
Hydraulic clutch
Body cut outs
Suitcase bumps
Low back vintage seats
Power steering
Pin drive front suspension
Narrowed 3 link rear
FIA pin drive wheels
Wiper kit
Floormats
Assembled side louvers
Center dash support
Double adjustable Konis
Also did a gauge delete (getting Smiths mechanical appearing), as well as a side pipe delete (thinking about undercar exhaust)
Order went in October 14th, Completion date is June 4th. That dovetails nicely with my March 31st retirement date..
I’ll be doing an in-person pickup. Plan is a 347 stroker with Webers, TKX, Goodyear billboards. It won’t be period correct, but hopefully period respectful...
I know how to turn a wrench, but I’ve never done electrical, or taken on a project of this size. I did go to Build School in November 2019, which was a huge help. Thanks to all those on here who listened to my dumb questions..
Stay tuned-should be quite an adventure!
Ken
