Has anyone sourced a 3 way heater switch other than the one provided in the Finish Line heater kit? It looks pretty much like plastic and I was looking for a more modern look.154776

I just replaced the knob for the heater switch & the wiper switch to match the headlight switch.

Same as Mr. Fogg, simple knob swap. Believe in, "if it ain't broke don't fix it".

what did you search for to get the matching switch head?

I bought a couple of these: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/idt-2503000020.
There are lots of styles, all slightly different. Search for headlight switch knob (you buy the bayonet with the knob), steering column knob, or heater switch knob. You might have to buy shorter or longer set screws, depending on your application; I get those at my local Fastenal.

Same as previous posters. What may be stumping you (which it did me for a bit) is finding the hex nut in the existing knob, kinda buried under all that plastic. When you get it off you find there's nothing special about the knob ... the shaft has a simple flat to engage with the hex nut on your new knob. If the knob isn't flush on the dash you can always cut the shaft to length and file / dremel in a new flat on the shaft.
