overhead console

Dave mentioned in one of his Facebook live's that more people are putting stuff on the Facebook page rather then the forum. Guess I'm guilty of that too.
So here's something I did lately to upgrade my car with an overhead console.
As usual started with a paper template and formed aluminum rails to constitute the frame.

I then used pressed board to make the sides and cubbie floors. I used velcro for the rear piece so I can easily remove it to get access to the mounting bolts in the rear.

Upholstered the sides and bottoms.

I now have a convenient place for the garage opener, sunglasses etc.
