I would like to know how many Type 65 Coupes are out here North of Seattle. I have a Gen II Coupe that I showed at five car shows this summer. I saw only one more Coupe in Everett at the Cruzin Colby show last month. It is white and I believe the owner is in Marysville, Wa just North of me. I finished my Coupe two years ago after a three year build. It is a street car so mild engine (347 sbf), TKO 600 5 speed, three link rear end, 17 inch wheels, 275 in front and 315 rear Nitto tires. Paint is Midnight Mystic Blue, racing stripes, roundels on doors and nose and all of the racing decals from the 1965 cars. The engine sports a Trick Flow aftermarket fuel injection system and 10:1 compression aluminum heads. Anyone needing help with a build issue can give me a post here. I have a lot of experience coming up with fixes of things that did not work on the kit.

Hi Fred,
No Coupe, but I'm putting together a Roadster. It was a basic kit I pruchased one yer ago from a fella in CA. He bought almost all the parts, but never got started. I just put my deposit down for a 351W B&S 427 and TKX. I rebuilt the trhee-link w/ 327 gears. I've put the Wilwood brakes up front and Cobra brakes on the rear. I'm still drilling the interior panels and considering PC, but also have thoughts of Sharkhide as most will be insulated and carpeted. Still a ways to go...
I'm just N of Silver Lake. I've met a couple others with Roadsters here in the area. All are not more than a couple of miles away. Your coupe sounds pretty nice. I'd love to drop by sometime to see your creation... maybe tap into your experience and enginuity. I'll PM you my contact info.

Hi there!
I've got a Gen 3 Coupe I'm building at my home in Marysville, WA but nothing that's left my garage.
Were you the one that showed up to Exotics at RTC? I was sent a couple pictures of one there but it was never on a day I was able to attend. There's another guy in Arlington that has one I've seen on Facebook I believe.
Let me know if you ever want to make the quick drive out to see the insanity or if you're ever up for showing off your Coupe

Matt:
I have only been to five shows this summer and they were all local to Everett. I saw the white type 65 Coupe on the Cruzin to Colby show in Evertt only. He was not at the street show the next day. I would like to see the differences bewtween the two generations of coupes. Your chassis design is years ahead of the 60s style AC design. I have pretty much put my car up for the winter unless we get a really nice sunny spell. It is really hard to see out of in sun let alone a rainy day. I do want to visit. Thanks for the interest.

I would like you to come by sometime for a visit and info sharing. Sounds like you are putting together a really nice and Fast Roadster. A FFR Roadster won Best in Show at the 2021 Wheels on the Waterfront Car Show this summer. This was against a lot of real gems like a restored 1934 Packard Convertible etc.
Send me your contact info please. Thanks for the interest.

Hi Fred,
No build yet here but, I am an FFR fan and have a trip to the build school coming up later this fall. I live up north in Mount Vernon. The only coupe I know of up here is in Skagit County. Its a really nice build with the 5.2 aluminator from Ford. The owner is not on the forum but is a super great guy. He did show up at the fathers day car show in La Conner this past summer. I am hoping to get my own build started in the next year or so. You know, when life get out of the way.
