Hello Friends!
Typically is the dash is held on by these 5 top screws... and a few easy to get to screws on the bottom?
I'd like to remove it and get it recovered but do not want to take off the body.
Also, these two outside screws look like a PITA to get to, the body in the way. ARGH!
Any tips, advice would be very appreciated.

if you take the windshield off, you might be able to flex the center enough to get a screwdriver in there.

Get under the screw head and cut. Multi tool? You don’t need 5 screws holding the dash.

Oh, and that’s s usually all that holds it unless there is an under dash support.

Mine are almost like yours. Slide a flat screwdriver between the dash and body. You can pry the body up enough to get to the screw. Easy peasy!

Assuming that the rear view mirror was screwed through the body and into the curved tube below the cowl as intended removing it will allow you to get more flex from the body (shouldn’t be necessary to remove the windshield). I can see that Scott rolled the cowl edge (Mk3/3.1 had square edges) so the filler is going to stiffen it—-be gentle but I think you’ll get enough movement to remove those outer screws.
Good luck!
