For those of you north of the Mason-Dixon line or who experience snow during the winter months. What upgrades do you have planned for the off season if any?

My winter upgrade list in 2008 was to pull the body for paint. Same for 2009, and 2010, and 2011, and 2012, and 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020… Maybe this year (but probably not).

With previous cars (2) I always had a long list on modifications/improvements for the winter season. A heated garage helps. Usually got some done but often there were stragglers that migrated to the next year.
This year will be different, I hope to actually make progress on my build. But "hope" seems to allow many options.

I plan to be go karting before thanksgiving and work through the list of items that arise from that. I plan to complete the build and possible install fresh air to the foot boxes.

Curious. Why are you replacing your wiring harness?

The cobbler's children have no shoes.
I might install the Ididit headlight dimmer relay to allow me to use the switch on my RT turn signal stalk.

I am replacing the harness because who ever wired the car needs to take a basic electrical course ! I knew it was sloppy when I purchased the car but when I started to do work on the car I realized how bad it was . And I cant find a fuse for the fuel pump and it dosen't have a oil pressure safety switch. And found more butt connectors than I can count , In one case there were three on the same wire . Its time , Ed

Biggest thing will be to change out the foam in the seat bases. Either my a$$ got heavier or the foam is different than my Mk 3.1. Either way, I will pull the bases, shave the new foam to match the shape and get them put back in the car. This is in addition to standing in my garage and drooling over Mr. Kleiner's paint job that just started today.

Had no upgrades in mind until I went cruising one night. Now I'm thinking LED headlights.

Oops, I couldn't wait for the off season and upgraded today - posted the results in the What Did You Do On Your Roadster Today? thread.
