Has anyone had any luck sourcing these lately? Mike Everson suggested them for my kit and I haven't been able to find any in stock anywhere. They have been discontinued by Ford.
I am very early in my build, but I am running the 2015-2017 13" rear brakes from Mike Forte, and the GT 11" brakes that come with the kit in front. It seemed wierd that the rears are so much bigger than the fronts, although I have seen other folks around here saying that they have wanted more brake in the rear, depending on set up. I may get the Wilwood fronts at some point, but would prefer not to spend the $1500 right now.

Anybody try these? I don't know this brand. Can anyone speak to the quality?

The Summit brakes look like a good upgrade.
If you want stock, Rockauto has two grades. The Centrix brand works well for me in other applications.

Duh... Don't know why I didn't think of that. Thank you. Literally last week I ordered brakes for my Chevy SS there... I did look though, and it looks like the only thing they have is Powerstops for the front. I have heard of that brand, at least.

I get mine from Carbotech. They have street and track compounds. They were very helpful to answer all my questions. The track pads, although not cheap, have different compounds for front and rear to balance the braking power with amazing stopping power.

Powerstops are a decent brand. I just put their front rotors and pads on my wife's 2015 Mustang GT and they are = the oems. 6 yrs or so ago I used the 'right stuff detailing' kit to put discs on an 8.8 rear axle. They used some GM calipers that are popular in the local level circle track cars that need to use stock parts. The calipers are cheap and available in several piston sizes which is why I chose them. I would not hesitate using the kit you listed based on my experience. BTW, later, when I did the 2015 IRS retrofit to my MkII, I used the oem brakes that came w/ my salvage yard rear suspension. At the time I had 93 and earlier Mustang front brakes so the rear rotors were a larger diameter than my fronts. The combination worked out fantastically. I did have a CNC balance adjustable master cylinder (similar in effect to the Wilwood adjustable setup FFR supplies) and for the first time I ran the same size MCs for both front and rear. So yep, your setup may look a little weird, but I bet it works great.

I have a new complete set from the complete kit I ordered From FFR. I decided to go the Wilwood route. If you are interested please PM me.

All that info is awesome! Thanks guys. Looks like I will be good whether I stick with the SN95 GT front brakes I have or use the powerstop 13" or the right stuff 13" kit. Maybe I'm best off sticking with what I have and seeing how it works before I go replacing stuff...
txboiler: I am confused. Are you wanting to part with the SN95 GT front brakes you have or the wilwoods? Those don't fit with your 15" wheels, do they? If its the wilwoods you are wanting to get rid of, I might be interested, but I already have the SN95 GT fronts that came with the complete kit. Did your kit come with something different?
