Anyone using Edelbrock’s Pro-Flo EFI system on your roadster? If so could you provide some feedback? Likes, dislikes, under the hood fitment, overall opinions.

Love it on my 427W in the roadster and the 347 in my Fox Mustang. The port injection is much better than throttle body like Fitech or Sniper, though having the fuel rails is a bit less 'authentic' looking if you care about that. Haven't messed with Sniper, but the ProFlo is easier to setup for initial start and seems to 'learn' faster. If you want to spent more time driving that futzing with tuners I highly recommend it. One drawback is they don't datalog in a traditional sense, but recording the live full gauge data screen as video on your phone (while it picks up audio of what your engine is doing) has been just as useful so far. Bluetooth connection, no wires.

I had the old Mass- Flow EFI system for years. It always ran O.K. but not as well I I thought it should. After about 15 years I decided to upgrade, looked at all the options and decided on the Pro-Flo 4. The kit was very complete, high quality, and easy to install. I did the simple set up required, turned the key and started the engine. The system learns quickly over varied driving conditions. Using the supplied wireless pad I only adjusted 2 minor things, idle speed and fan turn on point. My car drives WAY better than ever. I would recommend this system to anyone.
I also have the PF4 on my 427 - after 1400 miles it has been performing good. Pretty easy to set up and wire.
There were a few reasons I went PF4
1) no electronics mounted on the throttle body (ecu behind the dash)
2) PF4 is true multi-port EFI with injectors. Sniper and FiTech are TBI.
3) Comes with distributor, intake manifold and throttle body.
However IMO it does not look as pleasing to the eyes as the Sniper or FiTech because of the injector system.
There are plenty of guys on this forum running the Sniper system with good results too. The PF4 is another option.

I'm in the process right now of installing one on a 302 that I've been working on for the past couple of years.

Ditto what others have said. I am running one on my 347. It dyno’d at Mike Forte’s at 439 at the crank.
If you don’t want to see fuel rails, add a turkey pan!

I have the old Mass Flow EFI system. Mine has always ran O.K. as well but recently will start out fine and then won't idle down when you take your foot off the throttle - stays at 4K RPM. Kind of a problem. Assume its a sensor that needs to be replaced but since Mass Flow is out of business or bought out - how do I get a part number?
You replace it with the Pro-Flow 4 which sounds intriguing, how difficult was it to remove the Mass Flow components and go to the Pro-Flow 4? Will it still connect to the FFR Wiring harness?

I installed the Pro- Flo system a couple of years ago. Best thing I ever did! Previously I had the Mass- Flo EFI system for about 15 years. It was OK but I always thought it could be better, so I switched. I liked the fact that, aside from the fuel system minor changes, everything is pretty much in the box. Intake manifold, distributor, harness and of course the throttle body and rails. the system is easy to install, only minor answers to needed engine info for the setup and started right up! the system learns pretty much on its own. After about 100 miles or so I only made 2 minor adjustments om the pad, Idle speed and fuel cut off. I recommend this system highly!
I am over 3500 miles on my car now with the PF4 still running good with no issues (knock on wood). The PF4 system is designed to be a plug and play self learning system and also not required to be professionally tuned. So far up to this point I would highly recommend it.

I would also recommend the Pro-flo4. I installed one on my car a couple of years ago (302 with an E303 cam), and it's been bulletproof. I previously had a Pro-flo 2, which didn't have a map near my cam and was very difficult to tune. Pro-flo4 is an appliance, set it and forget it, starts every time, runs like a charm. The other thing I really like about both pro-flo systems is that they are port injected and allow you to locate the ECU remotely, so you can put it behind the firewall and protect it from a lot of heat (and potential moisture, even though it is water resistant on the Proflo4). The pro-flo 4 can also control your engine fan, reducing the need for extra sensors on your water jacket.
As an aside, I should note that it has some advanced programming features - certainly more than enough to get most "normal" configurations running well. However, if you're looking for a highly customizable option (say you want a twin turbo V8), this is probably not the solution for you.

Hi, I have a 1st generation of the proflo efi on a 427w stroker motor. It is running rough. Is the any way that I can mirror some of the settings of the proflo4? I would think I could input the setting on my handheld device and tweek from there.
