Hello!
Edit: updated new budget
I am in the market for a Type 65 coupe, preferably a gen 3 because I'm about 6' and 220 but will look at others. Budget is around 80k, can be more if its a good fit but that's just a baseline to throw a number out there. Located in Southern CA but will travel. I've been lurking reading everyone's beautiful builds for the last 3 years or so but I know I don't have the skill for the small details I see everyone doing here. So I figured I'd try my luck seeing if someone was willing to part with theirs. Email/text/call whatever is easier for people.
Safe driving!

Why not just have a Factory Five Preferred Builder make your dream come true and build the exact car you're looking for? A call or email to Factory Five Racing and they can give you the contact info of one of their Preferred Builders in your area.

Everything in my ideal build would cost easily 40k more after labor vs just having a nice gen 3 someone already built and is willing to part with. Really just comes down to cost unfortunately

I have no intention of letting snarky remarks deter me from doing my best to help out another forum member. That being said, far fewer Coupes are made each year than their Roadster counterpart. This is going to make finding one quite a bit harder to begin with. Then adding on that you'd prefer a Gen3 vs a Gen1 or
Gen 2 is going to thin the herd out even further. Not say'n they aren't out there, just that they don't come up as often. There is a Gen 1 Coupe that came up for sale today on a couple of the facebook pages. Pretty bare bones as Coupes go, but in your price range.

Do you have any more requirements? like Horsepower level - do you care about the color - I know might know a guy who would part with one around that number - :) It is definitively a stand out car..... runs alright.....
