I am beginning to build the engine for my 65 coupe. It will be a 351 Windsor engine and I believe a rear sump pan is required to fit the frame. What is the deepest pan depth that can be used without hanging under the frame.

Wow that is a pretty short pan. I was looking at a Canton but it is 9” deep. So I guess a stock type shallower pan is all that can be used. Or is there an aftermarket pan that has side extensions for extra capacity that will still fit?

The Kevco is a good suggestion thank you eg. Gordon I went to you site but couldn’t open any catalog or see any products you carry. Is it mostly call to find parts? Thanks for the feedback

Gordon as an experienced builder what have you found to fit and function well in the confines of the coupe frame? What brands do you carry/recommend?
