I’m finding the fuel pedal very draggy. I re routed it and that helped a lot but I think it still has a bit more drag than it could. Anyone know of a good replacement?

How bout a picture of what you have now? No sense in recommending something you already have.

I have ghetto pull cable. So after some googling it looks like aircraft push/pull are recommended? I happen to have a few laying around so maybe I’ll try one of those. I’ll do some fabbing and report back.

If you are running a Holley Style Carb or some sort of Throttle Body EFI, you can simply reverse the carb (Throttle Body) so that the throttle cable is in a U-Shape instead of an S-Shape. Taking this action will relieve the stress on the cable thus improving the throttle feel.
Holley's are happy in nearly every mounting position as long as they are upright and have the center-hung fuel bowls while most throttle body F/I systems don't have issues even if inverted.
Please be advised that you CANNOT do this with an Edelbrock or Carter Carb because the secondary jets are at the rear of the carb bowls so reversing the mounting position of this style carb will starve the secondary jets under acceleration while letting fuel slosh out of the accelerator pump pushrod.

Hmm now this is interesting. I’ll look at it. It’s a Holley sniper TBI system.

I did the same with a sniper and it helped. Also sprayed dry lube in both ends and it made a big difference.

Well I should’ve done this to begin with! I had this push pull in my junk pile and buy, it’s much better. Thanks all.

I have ghetto pull cable.
I'm not familiar with that one. Is that the name brand?
