Silly question, but the sending unit for the Ron Francis radiator switch, I'm guessing I get one that fits my radiator that turns on at 185 or 160, and that's where the fan switch wire connects to turn on the radiator fan.

Any preferences on a temperature?

There should be one with the loose wiring component sent with your kit.

I assume you are running a carburetor and not fuel injection? For EFI, don't install the thermal switch that came with the kit, but let the EFI control the fan.

185-190 for a carb engine. 195 for efi.

It's a carb. The one that came with the kit doesn't fit my radiator. I need to find one.

Thank you!

That's because it goes in the coolant tract of the intake manifold.

Agree. pulled a coolant plug on the manifold and screwed it in with some permatex on the threads.
