instructions have u cut 5/8 in off ea of the brake masters, then assemble. Problem is you need the 5/8 u cut off to reach the coupler between the 2.
Now I have 2 trashed brake masters???

This is one of those areas where the FFR manual could be improved. It's best to fit them up and then trim as needed, a little bit at a time. The good news is you can buy a rebuild kit for the MC relatively inexpensively (~$26 at Summit) that includes a new pushrod.

When I cut mine I still threaded them to the bottom. Can you post pics?

You should get to know the pic gallery, and use it to include images when you post questions. It gives clarity to what you are asking about (I'm a visual guy).
