We went out for a drive just to get out and we stopped for lunch in a small town just south west of Edmonton. The coupe was parked on the street about a block away from us so we did not see people looking at it. Anyway someone took some pictures of it and put it on the Edmonton Mopar facebook site asking "what is it". Our neighbour saw the pictures and let us know about it. I was fun to see about a dozen posts as they tried to figure it out. One of them thought it was a TVR?? they circled around to a Shelby Coupe but that is too expensive to be street parked then finally got to kit car and FFR.
We ended up at a small hydro power dam about 2 hours away from our house south west from Edmonton and the trees were just starting to turn, attached is a picture my wife took, car looks great.

To be fair it does have a passing (very passing) resemblance to a TVR Giffith (2000's model) which was also a large front engined V8, fibreglass body, no real safety equipment etc. Also having driven a Mk2 roadster and ridden in a Chimera or 2 they are about the closest to the experience I can think of.

I always got the what is it? When I had my Type 65. Once at a car show I listened to 2 fellows argue that it was a Volvo, LOL. :cool:

David, can you tell me what color your car is? I am leaning toward Royal Maroon and was wondering if that is what yours is. Yours is a great color. Thanks.

The paint is a Dodge/Ram color but with more pearl read more $$$$ it's a BASF paint Delmonaco Red Pearl PRV and in the sun it looks amazing
there are 2 coats of grey base, 7 red and 8 clear on it. The red is translucent so the color changes with each coat and the base color. It does not look like a Ram truck paint job.
