Alternative power sources?

I love that the rules on replicas are a bit more bendable than most cars. Sure, a snorting lopey v8 will always be the most fitting power for this car, but I’m curious if anyone has gone a little less traditional and put something strange in. Ideas that come to mind:
Full EV (sacrilege I know)
Mazda rotary
Toyota 2jzgte
Jag v12?
