...caught by a guy observing an event 2 or 3 weeks ago.
I just really like this one as an artistic shot. He must have snapped it between runs as evidenced by the gravel stuck to the warm tires and the fresh tire chalk.

Although I like it when people send me photos they have taken while I'm on course they usually don't tell me anything but this one does! This is on a hard fast right hand sweeper under acceleration. I had changed rear springs to free up the back end and this photo verifys what I was feeling. The tire deflection shows that the car is hard on the left rear while turning right but the front wheel position indicates that I was steering left, adding some opposite input to keep it in check.
