I need some help with where to start on a problem I had today. I have about 4000 miles on my roadster with the FiTech600 system. About five minutes after leaving home the engine shut down completely at 60mph with no warning. When keying on gauges respond and car cranks but no fuel pump activity. Fuel pump in the fuse box is ok and fuel pump relay works when substituted for the horn relay. Fuel pump is powered through the Ron Frances harness. I used the orange Fitech fuel pump wire to trigger the Ron Frances relay. The orange wire from the FiTech has a 20 amp in line fuse which I found to be blown. Any ideas what might have caused this? I did drive through some rain the week before and although I saw some water come through the dash in the area of the fuse box it wasn’t a huge amount. Should I replace the relay on the chance it is damaged and just try it with a new fuse? Thanks Jim

I would say a new fuse would be the cheapest option to start with. If it blows again, dig a bit deeper.
