I'm not sure this car actually exists, but I am looking to buy a 289 USRRC, Viking-style blue, with a CA title. Webers preferable, under car pipes preferable. Or if anyone can advise me on how to get a CA title easily (I am under the impression it's extremely laborious/impossible) it could be titled elsewhere. The title issues also put me off of building my own, even moreso than the fact that I don't have the free time at the moment.

Alternately if anyone has a similar non USRRC car I would still like to discuss.

Given how rare this configuration is... all tips and advice for how to get something like this titled in CA welcome!

Thank you!

There is someone here that has close to what you are looking for, sans webers, and was thinking about selling. Not sure if he will as he has a really nice 289. Also not registered in CA.

Titling a car in CA isn't impossible. It's just bureaucratic. You just need to follow the steps and work your way through the process. It's been pretty well documented here in many threads. If you do a search on "CA SB100" you should get all the info you need.

Please let me know if the 289 car you mentioned is for sale. PM or e-mail me rfracer25@comcast.net

Thanks for the responses KDubU and JohnK. KDubU - DMed you.

JohnK thank you, I heard a few days ago that there's a long backlog right now. I don't know if it's accurate or not. I've read most of what is on here I think about SB100 and that was useful. It amounts to most of what I know about it. But good to hear a positive experience with it.
