I’m converting to a manual steering set up and when I went to reconnect the steering shaft provided by factory 5, I realized that the spline on the manual steering is actually smaller. Does factory 5 sell a manual steering shaft or offer a solution to couple the shaft with the spline?

TFFR did sell a manual steering spline adapter. You might ask on the forum if anyone has one they want to sell privately. I see them come up from time to time in the classified section.

Flaming River also sells adapters. https://www.flamingriver.com/steering-universal-joints

Thank you for the response, good lord that is half the price of the manual steering kit!!

Edit: wasn't looking in the right spot. I think I found a solution. Thanks again. Still open to hearing more suggestions. Waiting for a call back from FF as well.

What generation is the car? Mk1 or 2, Mk3, Mk3.1 or Mk4? Steering shafts are different on all and will dictate the way to convert from the power rack's shaft to manual.
