Funny enough, I am converting to Manual Steering, I still have some of the parts, maybe we can help each other? I've started the project already, I have run into the problem of my steering shaft supplied by FF not fitting the spindle on the manual steering rack, I think the supplied shaft has a welded on 30 tooth ujoint and the manual steering rack spindle is a 26 tooth.
