Oiling air filter

I have S&B Oval Air Filter Element (Tall) from Cobranda, and I need to oil it after cleaning it. Anyone knows how much oil does it need? S&B’s site doesn’t know this filter since it’s a custom filter, and guys from Cobranda don’t know about oil amount. S&B promises “damage to engine” if wrong amount of oil is used.

with any oiled filter "just enough to add color" is the right amount... you don't want to soak the material, just give enough oil to capture dirt

That is what they told me. I always have a fair amount left over.

Remember that some of that is for touch ups. So don't feel the need to use it all.
