So hey guys I'm about to get my shipment, from what I see and hear the Stewart transport guy is pretty helpful getting the kit unloaded, did you guys tip the guy? Maybe some will find this a dumb question but I've never had anything shipped to me like this.

If you tipped what was fair?

Yep. He worked hard and really helped me a lot getting everything inside of my garage. I gave him $100.

I had $200 in my pocket when my truck kit delivered a few years ago, I ended up giving him only $100 though as I felt I worked way harder than he did. I used the other $100 on beer!!

Yeah...I gave him $50. I wasn't sure either...my delivery was super easy (~1 hour total) - no transfer to jackstands or anything because I had my dolly ready so I figured $50 was good. If you have a super long drive way or need extra help transferring to jackstands or anything like that maybe bump it up a bit. Totally your call - and not "expected" or required.

My Coupe was delivered a week ago today. and yes we gave the Driver a Tip he made it look easy but it was a lot of work. Have someone other than yourself take lots of pictures you will be busy making check marks on the Box list as they come off the truck.
It was an exciting day. Enjoy!

In todays world $100 is a nice tip. His job of getting the cars off and safely delivered is probably pretty easy for him since he does it all the time. If he gets a $100 for each car he's averaging $1000 per load. Not bad considering he gets paid to drive and unload.

I always slip the driver a hundred and tell him to go get himself a good meal.

My drive is too steep & curved to back a semi-trailer in. Driver helped me get stuff up the hill & the chassis onto the jack stands on a chilly winters night. Gave him $100 8 years ago.

I tipped 100. Driver was very helpful and took his time to make sure everything was there and in good shape. Not to mention the 100 questions he answered!

My guy was great, very nice.

The truck & trailer came in, unloaded, turned around and left without hitting any curbs. $100.00 given with a smile & he was was very appreciative... which was appreciated.

Lastly, these guys are not at home that much...

YEP! A hunny dolla bill is a good rule of thumb + or - as you feel is appropriate . Mines not for a good meal though. All those hours on the road dealing with being cut off and stopped short the tension must build up . Sooooo ! A massage and a beer is my advice to them. I believe that's called "A rub and a chug". Is that correct Capt.-O.....something seams off ...."a rub and a ......" Oh well, I'm sure it will come to me...da Bat.......Oh! OH! Miso soup.....nope!.Miso hungry.....nope! lost it, oh well....
