I have a still crated FFR BPE 347 that I received a couple of months ago.
I've decided that I would like to change to a different engine but that would require that I sell this one.
What this means to you is that if you are contemplating a FFR BPE 347, this one can be bought at a discount and you can get the engine NOW.
Here are the specs:
FFR BPE 347 Engine part number: BP3473CTCK
Tremmec TKX part number: BPPTKX600AB
Accessory part number: BPP302FDPS
It includes 7 quarts of the break in oil: BPP710
*This is Option 2 and includes the 1 wire alternator and power steering)
I upgraded the valve covers (which are also included).
I'm located in Memphis TN (38103) which means that shipping may be cheaper for you (depending on where you live).
Price: $13,300 (go to the FFR BPE website and price: https://www.factoryfiveengines.com/blueprint-engines-factory-five-engines/blueprint-engines-mk4-roadster-engines/blueprint-engines-ford-347-carbureted-mk4
If you want to save over $800 and get the engine NOW this is your chance.
I've also spoken directly to BluePrint engines on the warranty. The full warranty will be transferred to you since the engine hasn't been taken out of the crate.
I'm including pictures of the engine in the crate and pics of the valve covers that are currently installed. PM me or text at (901) 317-0972

Interesting. I know this isn’t the point of your post but what are you moving on to instead?
Also might want to put this in the parts for sale thread as well. Coup, hotrod and truck guys might be interested as well.

Can't go wrong with a 427. When you left if vague I was hoping it would be something exotic like an electric or Rotary Engine. :)

Well the only way I can move up is to sell so hopefully someone will want the 347, it is an awesome engine but I changed my mind at the last minute. Like literally, FFR had to go put the 351 headers in the shipment and pull out the 289.

Again, not the point of the post but are FFR mounting brackets welded on the frame different between the the 351 and SBF or are they the same? Learning something new every day :) Good luck on your sale. That is a great deal for someone looking.

The frame perches for the motor Mounts are "universal" for any supported engine.

I confirmed they are the same. In fact my GasNGo pipes are ok. The only thing that I had to change out was the headers. FYI the FFR BPE 427 is built on a 351 Dart block with a higher deck height so motor mounts work.

Have you confirmed with Blue Print that they can supply a 427? A new builder close to me paid them completely for a Dart 427/TKO600 and they told him recently they had no idea when they could supply the 427. He is now waiting for his refund.

A Las Vegas builder is trying to get a 347/427 from Forte with a Dart block. Forte also cannot give a date as he can't get the short blocks from Dart.

This would have been nice about two months ago. I pretty much ordered the same setup from BP. Timing is everything.

A few questions:
1. What is the gearing on the TKX?
2. What intake is that? Holley 750CFM?
3. Do you have the cam specs?
Certainly tempting. I'm trying to build that same engine, but all parts are backordered for now.
I'm from Memphis, by the way. Last name Robilio. Lots of great Rodders in Memphis!

Just an update, BPE is allowing me to return the engine (I have to pay a couple of hundred for return shipping) and I've now got the 427 HO Stage II fuel injection engine ordered.

I think BPE is going to turn the engine around pretty quick so it's a win win for someone waiting on a BPE 347. Probably someone on these boards!

Glad they will take it back. I'm not in Memphis anymore. Now in Santa Barbara, CA, so it would have been a long haul. Good luck!
