What do the gen 3 coupes weigh in street configuration? Is there a big departure from the 2400 lbs FFR quotes? Thanks in advance!!!

I would think there are a lot of factors in getting to the final weight. Engine and transmission configuration, amount of insulation, various options to the car and so on. A Coyote weighs approximately 10 to 20 pounds more than a cast iron blocked 302, a T56 weighs about 30 pounds more than a TKX. Then there is the amount of heavy sound insulation you might add. I expect to add about 75 pounds of materials to my car just to deal with sound and water intrusion.

My weapon weighs 2992 (wet) - but I have a few more things on it than most :)

My Gen 3 Coupe-R is heavier than I was hoping for, and it's nowhere near done yet. As a driveable go-kart, with no body, no windows, no carpet, and half the sound insulation, the weight is 2,496 lbs as shown below. Fuel tank about 90% full in this photo. Already have a Braille lightweight battery.

The body by itself is about 154 lbs as received from FFR, no sanding, filler, or paint (79 lbs front and 75 lbs rear). My car in go-kart stage has some extra stuff, such as air jacks and the extra -R chassis tubing (quoted at 70 lbs more than the street version of the Coupe chassis).

You and me both!
I'm guessing a transfer case and front diff weigh more than a pair of turbos and intercoolers though ;) I'll just need to accept I'll probably be over the 3k mark.

My gen 3 with IRS and Coyote Gen2 with TKO5 transmission, but without doors, weighed 2,400lbs exactly (! what are the odds) as I took it over a certified weigh bridge as I drove it to get it titled. They required a certified weighbridge ticket. I added the doors and side windows later. { After a tune the rear wheel HP was 398 @ 6,320 and Max torque 374.55 @4,200}
Decent power/weight ratio. It comes on strong at about 3k...and up
