Rear: -2.1 Camber, 0.11 Toe.
- Currently on 2015 Yokohama S Drive street tires - getting old but lots of thread, ironically
- Rear: 255/35R18
- Front: 215/45R17
- These tires are mismatched to ECU default settings showing 5 mph over actual at 40mph
- Calculated recommended tires on same rims (sold the race set with Toyos separately):
Good: BF Goodrich G-Force R1
- 215/40R17 and 265/35R18
Best: Toyo Proxes R888/R888R - lifts front and back equally and tire circumference matches speedometer.
- 215/45ZR17 and 275/40ZR18
Car is fully driveable and trackable.
For just track readiness you would need to
- Remove rear bottom airflow diverter carbon fiber and
- Replace the failed neutral position sensor switch on the tranny (part provided with sale) so that idle does not hunt in neutral at stop lights (no garage space currently to fix)
- Since I replaced shifter with billet FFR one, adjust transmission shift arms in same area for smooth 1st and reverse gear engagement.
That's it.
To showroom finish it:
- The #80312 - HOOD PIN SET from FFR was originally used on hood (2 sets). They were removed for 4 snap/button pins because hood cannot separate and lift unsafely at the front with the added Zero Decibel brackets. However, hood needs refinishing and full repaint or vinyl wrap. Recommend drilling Zero Decibel attach points and countersunk bolts over existing glue (the F5R hood pins will be supplied too).
- To fully rain protect rear trunk, the F5R pins (2) were also replaced with Snap/button pins. Also needs refinishing and ideally a metal strip at joint with engine bonnet to force curvature on to open easily.
- Paint chips on hood and some unfinished panel edges as I trimmed to allow doors to open fully and trimmed hood at windshield to clear wipers without the huge gap the F5R carbon fiber trim would have created. Hood was hit by small rocks nosing into the rear of Corvettes at Laguna Seca, Sonoma, and Thunderhill. To summarize, needs repaint for showroom look - it is a track rocket.
- New trunk expansion was not my finest hour as I did not have the fiberglass creative garage space. I improvised to spec maximum capacity. Fits airplane carry on suitcase and soft top and some tools. Use it as mold to fiberglass the entire center piece for nice fit and finish.
I will supply all paperwork history for origin and SB-100
Starts first key, every time! Never overheats with current AWIC setup. Second manual fan is not even switch wired - you can finish that and never care about engine heat at the track in 120 degree days.
Will include new set of ID1005 injectors (they need adapters), new blow-off valve if you want to retune for fast engine down rev, full extra WRX harness, and documentation on USB key for your tinkering.
