FF5 was right on schedule, I was given a delivery dat of 8/7/21 and received my car 8/14/21.
Although I did not receive any parts that i could work with I am still happy to receive the car.
I did take down the mold seems and I am waiting on the Rage Gold to coat the seems in.
I spoke with Brent at FF5 and hew is telling me it will be 4 weeks before I will see any additional Parts.
I am having an Issue with Blue Print Engines, I have paid them in full for a 427 with trans and bell housing and they are telling me 5 months later, that they do not have a block to build my engine. That was very discouraging to say the least. I think I am going to a Ford 427 crate. I am happy to have the car and I like what i see so far.

you got the body/chassis but no boxes?
can you drill aluminum while you wait?
will BPE offer a refund? I think Mike Forte might have engines ready to go. but honestly, without parts to put on the car right now, you'll be waiting for drivetrain install anyway.

I got box's. ,17 in fact but nothing that I can work with. i.e. IRS differential and spindles but nothing else for the rear. Nothing for the front end. brake and clutch master cylinders ,one reservoir. brake lines nothing else for brakes. no radiator , no fuel tank, not much that I can use right now.
BPE is telling me they will return my money. I gave them until the 25th to come up with a resolution or give my money back.
I'll check with Forte and see if he has a 427 , trans, clutch and bell housing in stock.

The parts situation is gone from bad to rediculous. I picked my car up August 20 a year ago and I waited almost four months for the rest of my parts to arrive. I really feel bad for anyone trying to build a car today. It’s just plain horrible trying to get parts. Hang in there.

Go ahead and drill all your panels. Then you can powder coat, paint, shark hide them or whatever you want to do. You can run your hard brake and fuel lines. Once your firewall is on, start running electric. You can work on your dash as well. Plenty of things to start.

Yep, it is a shame. I am really tired of the covid excuse dang near everyone uses and not much success in finding a way around it. I am not talking about FFR either. Seems to me this shortage stuff is affecting nearly every type of product.

The Covid excuse is becoming tiersome. Like Craig said by now, you make ways around it. They sure seemed to find ways to sell Covid personal protection devises. There's a booming market.

Global shipping issues continue to be a problem.
Shipping costs are up nearly 700%. Holiday ecommerce should be fun this year.

Wow. Sorry to hear about your POL. My delivery was 12/20 and it took 6 months to get the last bits on my POL. Great suggestions above for burning time while waiting. When I was coming up to a road block waiting on a crucial part ( which was everything mission critical north of the firewall) I would then move onto a modification ( RT drop trunk, FFmetal drop battery box, Fabricating adjustable seat mounts, Jeff Kleiner rear quick jack attachment mod, fabricating reservoir mounts, powder coating parts, etc) That seemed to soak up quite a bit of time. FFR will make it right and make sure you get your parts I am sure.

I was stuck on a few items and was able to find them on my own. FF will refund you some of the costs. A good example was the pedal box, summit had them in stock, the bad was my credit was ~80 dollars less than what I paid summit. Still it let me close up the pedal box and move on. You could probably find the gas tank on rock auto etc.
