I'm at the stage where I need to start getting the dash mounted and determine how to mount/stash everything behind there.
share some pics, ideas, tips & tricks
I will have some extra relays, etc from power seats, pushbuttons, etc.
I don't think everyone drills mounts into the firewall, but maybe I'm wrong?
here's a great example of what I aspire the wiring to look like

unfortunately mounting anything through the CF dash just won't work...!

Mine is a rats nest back there... we are planning on removing the dash to clean it up a bit. Initially it looked fine, but after adding "just one more wire" multiple times it got out of hand.

major props to those who can make it look like artwork!!
I've been watching some youtube and getting ideas... I like this guy's work on setting up a relay/fuse panel

Hey Todd,
Here are a couple ideas. I have under dash filler panels that run nearly the full length of the dash, which I'm going to use to mount stuff that I need to access but don't want to see (USB chargers, buttons for the gauges, footwell lights... you get the idea). I also made a vertical partition wall that will sit behind the glove box that I've mounted some of the bulkier items (DGD and E-Stopp control boxes) to, and will also mount the relays for the heated seats and other items I don't need to access on a regular basis.
This isn't a very good shot of the under dash filler, but you can see it in the glove box opening:

And here are a couple shots of the mount that will sit behind the glove box. I still need to make a little L bracket to support it at the top, which will attach to one of the bolts that mount the wiper motor.

Hopefully this gives you some ideas.

It was a lot of work. Prob 50 lbs. of zipties. I really like the flat type instead of the 90 degree ones. A few places I used hangers to hold bundles up and out of the way. My amp is riveted to the firewall. I also have full length under dash support I made. I used terminal blocks for the Russ Thompson turn signal but that could have just been hard wired bc it takes up room. I also have a ground distribution block behind the dash.
I wouldn't be too worried about drilling into the firewall, its not that noticeable. You could make some kind of bracket to attach stuff to behind the dash so its only a couple holes in the firewall, just rivet in from the engine bay side in so its more appealing. I used the backside of the hoop in a couple places. The angled dash support bracket I made (with holes in it) also helped wire management.

This was my base setup. Really just a lot of consolidation and zip ties

Once installed there was plenty of room for extras.

Here is mine. Added some brackets for relays and the throttle body computer.
Just take your time and keep it tidy. It all fits eventually.

Anyone ever have 520 Speedworks wire your dash? They advertise starting at $250, but thought I'd ask:

Wow! there is some nice work posted in the previous pictures! I just used a bunch of sticky squares and zip ties and it all turned out ok. Nothing like the previous pics though. At least it looks better than what the previous guy did. I also cleaned out a quarter pound of bondo dust when I took the dash off.
Before and after pics...

I moved the fuse panel to the passenger side of the car and flipped the blinkers from left to right.

It's what you do when you are from "The Dark Side!" plus it uncluttered the foot box.
