Hey all,

First time posting, and kicking off a build thread here. Thinking of starting a blog to document my build process and thoughts throughout the process, so will try to keep this somewhat updated.

Before I begin, and even though we haven't interacted yet, I want to express my appreciation for the time, effort, and support that you all add here. It has been helpful to me already even in the stages of thinking to order a kit and how I go about choosing my setup.

In the spirit of paying it forward, I took the time to digitize my entire pack list that you can find here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Uef9TQxjs7tWFECppbf3PGPJCVaLGfxL0MGpOWnnWBk/edit?usp=sharing If it helps, feel free to copy it and use it for yourself.

I created the inventory list spreadsheet before I unpacked everything. You can see that I added a "Confirmed" column that I used to mark off everything I actually found packed compared to what was indicated as shipped to me. For the most part, everything is there, with a couple of questions that you can see in the Notes sheet.

To keep it short to start, here are a few photos I snapped of the kit arriving. Very excited to embark on this adventure and to walk a few steps of it with some of you here!

A warm welcome, mladen! Congrats on your kit delivery. When you get a chance we'd like to hear more about what you ordered. Sounds like you killed it on the inventory. And, already paying it forward!?! Very cool! Thank you.

Congrats and welcome aboard! From the sound of it there are going to be a LOT of builders stuck in the "out of order" assembly mode. Good luck with your build!
BTW....I'm one month into my build so we may track pretty close.

Thanks everyone!

I got the MK4 complete kit, 351w, IRS, Koni, 15" Halibrand wheels. Ordered a Blueprint 427 Stage I engine with TKX manual transmission and longer 5th gear, w/ power steering, with expected delivery in December.

Things that I'm considering as modifications to the standard kit: Wilwood brake kit from Gordon Levy, drop trunk, turn signal from Russ. Still a lot to be decided, including the final paint color :)

Digitalizing the packing list is brilliant. I'm far enough along to not need it anymore but thank you for doing that. I also find it amusing that the build manual is on your POL.

Welcome and congrats on your build

Yeah, that was a surprise to me as well about the manual :) But an indicator of how strained things are in the supply chain, and makes me feel even more appreciative of all the hard work FFR team is putting in to supply us with fun projects to do while we're stuck at home more :)

welcome and enjoy the ride!

welcome to the fun... Your off to a great start just by doing a complete inventory... many don't and pay the frustration gremlin dearly for it. Looking forward to watching your build progress...
