SOLD SOLD SOLD

G50.20 out of a 1998 993 Carrera convertible.
Trans pulled in 2004 with 30k miles (mileage documented by Carfax).
Put into GTM in 2006, odometer ticked up appr 4200 miles since then.

Happy to put on pallet and ship at buyers expense.
Open to discuss reasonable offers and will include the matching GTM Brandwood/Cableshift kit for free (shifter box + shifter cables).

For sale due to installation of LS7 and a 996 Turbo gearbox.

When the G50 came out, a repair to one of the clutch fork pivot shaft bosses undid itself (see photo). This looks like it was repaired long ago.
A current CMS pivot shaft boss repair kit runs appr $700 but I will leave it to the buyer to choose and do the type of repair she/he desires. It's a very common G50 issue and there are a few common methods how to repair it.

Only part that was opened on this trans was the diff cover, I had an experienced professional install a CMS billet diff cover before I changed my mind and decided to go with a less rare transmission for the LS7.

The LS7 upgrade is still in progress and the G50 never ran with the LS7 power.
The original G50.20 diff cover will be supplied with the transmission.

I have recent driving videos and information needed for a serious buyer, pre removal. The trans operates and shifts perfectly as it should with this low mileage.

Glad to see it finally sold. That "fix" was done before I bought the transmission and provided for my low purchase price ( I won't say how low as they go for way more than I paid the junk yard).
