A guy in my local cobra club is selling a set of stainless side pipes, and I really would like to swap them out with my black ones.

When comparing his stainless and my black ones, they are different. My side pipes end exactly at the 90° point and have 4 bolts. His side pipes extend about 6-8 inches straight out from the 90° point and are a 3 bolt mounting system.

Both sets are from FFR and 5.0/302 engines.

Is there a different J pipe I’d need to buy? An adapter? Anyone have any wisdom on this?

The pic below is the stainless I was hoping to fit on my car.

Thanks y’all.

FFR discontinued the 3 bolt flange some time ago. I originally had that on my MK 1 1/2 and had to go to a completely new 4 bolt flange set up (j pipes and side pipes) when one of my original j pipes broke. Maybe you can get your hands on some old 3 bolt j pipes to use. I couldn’t find any when I looked a couple of years ago.
