Heading to Bloomington - 8/17/21

I think today was almost the most exciting of them all!

Jeff had a car to deliver west of me in Illinois so he stopped by and picked mine up on the way back home.

Ape hardtop, british racing green (jaguar?) no hood scoop, under car exhaust, luggage rack, and a permanent grin!

Good to meet you also Greg! It was 670 some miles on the deliver and pickup loop...then an hour and a half on the mower after I got home. Your car is staying in the trailer tonight ;)

Jeff found his way to my house from smoke coming from the neighbors property. An hour later the town siren blows and the fire dept shows up. The house had caught fire and was a total loss. Wife had the kids in town buying school supplies. Husband was actually in the shop for that hour oblivious to the fire until he went to the house for lunch. Found it full of smoke. Thinks it was electrical. All safe and they have a camper to stay in but looked to be a total loss. Hug your families tonight and be grateful for what you have. It may be gone tomorrow.
