Looking for Coyote Gen 3 Roadster oil filter (short) replacement part number.

Recommended on forum in the past: Mobil 1 M1-113 Extended Performance Oil, Fram PH10060, Wix/Napa 57060, Napa 7060.

Note: Engines come with "FoMoCo C336B" filter. Although not anywhere in the instructions that I've found, I've been told directly from the Ford Performance engineers that the filter is not intended for actual use. It's smaller than the stock filter in order to fit into the shipping crate. Interesting and a bit strange... The filters listed are all smaller size like that one and fit on the engine with easy access.

I've mainly used the Mobil 1 filters. Walmart carries them and a decent price. Get good reviews. Last time I bought them, only had Mobil 1 M1-113a. Per on-line search, updated version of M1-113. Received equally high reviews.

I use a filter for 2011 Cadillac CTS-V.

It’s easier to remember and to ask or search in stores. You end up with the part no. that edwardb is listing.

I’m not picky on brand. It could be any GM LS motor but the 2011 CTS-V comes with only the right motor so it leads directly to the right part.

Yes. The Gen 2 and Gen 3 are externally identical in nearly every area. Including this one. Just have to remove the oil cooler for both, which I think is common knowledge.

A word on the FL500S filter by Ford Motorcraft: I just got the filter today and it was too big to fit on the engine. The filter collides with the chassis and cannot be orientated properly.
