Hello everyone,

I have been lurking on the forum for the better part of a month, my first post. I recently sold my 68 Big Block Corvette to make room in my shop for a Mk4 project. I haven't ordered the kit yet but I did just score the powertrain for it. I am picking it up on Friday, a 2018 Gen 3 Coyote with an MT82 transmission and a 2019 Mustang GT complete IRS with 3:55 gears. I want to learn a little more about the options available and the options needed for the Coyote install.

Hi and welcome!
What type of info are you looking for? Factory Five sells an install kit to take care of most of the hardware side of the engine install, a few companies and users have methods to use the MT82, and there's the Ford control pack (most use) or a flashed stock ECU (least used) for the engine management side.

I have a few questions, what actually is included in the Coyote installation kit? I got the complete body and engine harness with my donor engine and trans. , will some of this be duplicated with the install kit?

What headers should be ordered? By the description on FF website, the two choices for a Coyote engine are with converters or with a ball flange collector.

Will FF give credit for deleted items such as the side pipes if I should choose to buy Gas-N pipes or GP Headers.
