Is the car still in gelcoat or are the lines reflections from the ceiling?

Sorry for asking just hard to tell, I would think it is reflection.

The gen 1 bodies were molded with blue, grey, and finally black gel-coat. The gen 2 & 3 bodies are in red gelcoat. The square-tube X-brace in the front indicates a gen 1. So, because it’s a gen 1 chassis, that red is paint.
