So after (years) of discussion and now nearing retirement the green light for buying a FFV Cobra is lit. Now the fun part. Finding and buying one. I don't have room to build a car on my own, nor do I wish to take on a project that large. I'm no stranger to working on cars, I've owned and rebuilt a 1966 Shelby Mustang and a 1960 Austin Healey. I used to have a much larger garage, but now I just have a single bay garage, which is fine for working on a car and storing it but, not at all for building one.
That said, I'd like to find a "roller" or better in a color I like or even unpainted. Budget is 30-40k. I'm not fixated on injection vs carbs, or even necessarily on which engine. I'm open as long as it is put together well and not some sort of crazed Frankenstein. I'm in New Hampshire and now that Covid is hopefully ... well hopefully... A visit to FFV in MA is coming soon!
