I am using a Holly Sniper EFI on my roadster, 302 with approximately 380 HP. I have 3 maybe 2 and a half questions:
1- Can I use the 5/16" fuel line & 1/4" return line supplied by Factory 5 or do I need 3/8" fuel and return line? I think I saw someplace that 3/8" were suggested for the Sniper.
2- I bought the in tank fuel pump, I assume I need a fuel filter, should it go in the engine compartment or can I put it close to the tank.
3-If the 3/8" lines are needed should I buy a filter with a 3/8" inlet and outlet?....if needed at all.

Thank you in advance for the help, this forum has already been a great help and it is appreciated.

Question 1 Fuel Line Size From Summit Racing

Recommended Fuel Line Size (from the tank to the pump)

Engine Output 350-450 hp

Size (inches) 3/8 in

Size(AN) -6 AN

Question 2 Fuel Filter and Fuel Pump

Make sure the pump is sized for the amount of Horse Power

The fuel pump should have a 'sock' on it to filter out large debris

A separate fuel filter mounted close to the rear tank pump filtering the fuel tank feed line. See builders manual.

Question 3 Size of fittings for the fuel line

I would get a filter that accepts -6AN fittings and use those throughout the fuel lines set up all the way to the Fuel Pressure Regulator and to the Sniper Throttle body.

Return Line can be 3/8 or 5/16". I would, however, suggest you make all your lines 3/8".

I built several items on my car realizing that sometime in the future I may add Horse Power or maybe the next owner may do so if I don't. So, it's always good to have a little wiggle room for future changes.

Make sure you get the fuel pump hangar for the 3/8 line also. I believe Breeze sells everything you need.
