Since finishing the car, I've been chasing drips here and there. Nothing major, just annoyances. One source seems to be my oil pan. SBF with a Canton pan. At least once a year I need to retighten all of the bolts. I get these old motors run rough, but this is getting tiresome. Any suggestions? Switch to studs, new gaskets, something else (besides switching to a Coyote :))...

Vibra Tite VC-3. It acts like a nylock nut, but on the male threads.

coyote pans leak, too... solution: sealant on the extraneous plugs and diligent cleaning of the plug you use. Thankfully, I haven't had an issue with leaks between the block and moroso pan.

I used a one piece pan gasket w/ a steel core so you can't over tighten/crush the gasket.
Put a dollop of RTV at the corners where the curved part meets the flats. I put studs in for the larger bolts next to the front and rear main seals which made it easier to swap out the gasket/pan with the engine already installed in the car.

I have never had a pan bolt loosen. If you are using cork gaskets, seems you may be over tightening?

I haven't seen this before either on other project cars. Couple finger tight bolts by the end of each season. Since it's been a recurring issue, I ordered a new gasket... and switching to studs as well.

Thanks all for the suggestions!
