I am having clearance issues between the boot of the power steering rack and the vertical frame post. It is so small that it has pulled the boot away from the rack. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I’m considering trimming the forward bushing and shimming the rear with a large washer to increase clearance. Any other ideas?

Breeze offset bushings bring the rack forward away from the verticals approx. 1/4" and help align the rack. Well worth installing these.

There was near identical thread here or the other forum about 2 weeks ago.

Think I'd start with this before installing any more parts.

Touché but it’s mostly sanding dust from the body. :D

Here are a couple of pictures of the rack with the Breeze mounts that I took for the previous thread on the same subject that Craig mentioned. You can see there was room for a washer behind the Breeze bushing to gain even more clearance.

PS Too busy driving to wash the engine bay.

Thanks, definitely going to grab those breeze bushings. No judgment here on the the engine bay. :p
