Hey guys,
I am in the middle of wiring the car and just finished installing RT turn signal and hazard switch. Problem I am having is getting voltage feeding back through the running light circuit at each click of the turn signal flasher. Basically if I signal left both front and rear flashers indicate as they should but the right side front running light will flash dimly at the corresponding time. Same thing happens if I make a right signal (left side front dimly blinks). I did confirm it was the running light circuit and not the turn signal circuit that is dimly flashing on the opposite side. I should note this is only on the front lights and the problem doesn’t carry through to the back lights.
A few things I should mention to help trouble shooting ideas.
It was doing this before the hazard switch was installed and yes I have diodes in place on those wires.
Wiring harness is a EZ wiring harness coupled to my dieted donor supplied by Art Cuesta (don’t think this is the issue but it’s not a RF)
I am using the FFR supplied trailer adapter for the rear wiring harness (to allow the shared brake / turn signal) to work properly.
I am using the FFR supplied lights ( led rear , incandescent front) and non led flasher module. I tried installing the FFR supplied LED flasher module but it didn’t work at all. I am guessing since I still have the incandescent front lights?
Turn signal dash indicator lights have not been installed... would that make difference?
Any thoughts or opinions is welcomed.
