I'm thinking of installing an automatic underhood fire suppression system in addition to the handheld fire extinguisher that will be mounted in the cockpit. Summit carries two brands that make automatic systems: Safecraft and Lifeline USA. Both look similar and both use Novec 1230 as the extinguishing agent. I'm thinking of a two-nozzle system with one nozzle on either side of the engine. Has anyone installed one of these systems? I see that Safecraft has a kit with a 10# bottle and two braided hoses (21" and 85") (this one) (https://safecraft.com/product/model-lm/). I think they also make a kit where you can plumb the lines with hard lines. I have some 3/16" and 3/8" stainless steel line left over from fabricating my fuel and brake lines that I could use. Is one approach preferable over the other? Anyone have any photos or install tips/advice/pitfalls to share?
Thanks,
John

I installed a fire suppression system. I chose the Fire Bottle ARMC-500 from Crateinsider.com. It comes with one automatic nozzle and 2-manually operated nozzle and uses Dupont FE-36 fluid.

Hey Mark. I read the post from your link. Nice work! Why did you go with this fire suppression system over the others? I’m asking more about the agent used than number of nozzles and price etc.
