View Full Version : swapping out the dash - will it fit?

I've got a MK3.1 and want to replace the dash. Does anyone know if the MK4 dash will fit or do I need to order a MK3 dash? Any thoughts or suggestions?
Are you planning on getting a blank aluminum dash or the pre-covered model with the glove box? If you get a blank dash, it would be easy to make the modifications to get the fit right. I think the dash is the same between 3.1 and 4, but that's just my opinion.

Rich is correct; 3 and 4 are the same.

Thanks guys. I'd like to get the pre-drilled and pre-covered one. I assume they come pre-drilled and hopefully that will match my current gauge setup.
I guess I should call F5 with these questions.
The padded dash from FFR only comes in one configuration unless they've started offering different options.

Thank you Papa. This looks like it would work. Would need to add a few additional smaller holes, which shouldn't be a problem. I believe they also offer a carbon fiber covered option(or a carbon fiber sticker, I should say).
