For those of you who have done the upgrade to the Cat Eye Headlights (those made for Jeep’s), what did you do with the Day Time Running Lights and the Blinkers? Did you not hook them into the headlight, hook them up in conjunction with the yellow blinker/running light or hook them up and disconnect the yellow blinker/running light?
Also, what brand did you go with and how do you like them? I know these are not true to the original but I look at this as a restomod not an original and the idea is growing on me, plus the ones from FFR do not put off enough light.

NO Ed, stop step away.:( Do not put those abominations on your car. They are fugly no matter what vehicle they are on. You have a nice ride don't ruin it.
There are a lot of good LED light setups to choose from, so keep looking.

Hella vision plus reflectors with some QUALITY H-4 lamps will be just the ticket. Or slap some JWSpeaker lamps on that baby! Stay away from the Chinese knockoff stuff though. You’ll end up replacing them.

2nd on Hella 7" lights. I like a reflector that has at least some traditional style. There are a lot of really ugly new-fangled lamps out there.

I've been a serious user of Halogen H4s for many years but the H4 LED replacement bulbs are showing great promise. I replaced the H4 and H2 (?) bulbs in my Audi S4 with Morimoto LEDs, huge difference.

Not exactly an answer to the question you asked...

I did a bunch of research and ended up deciding on the the rigid truck-lite headlights (They don't have halos). I was trying to achieve the more modern look but without it being too much. They took a bit of fitment work but I am happy with the look (and function).

I agree with posts 3 & 4. I have 7" Cibie lenses and reflectors, with Halogen H4 bulbs. Used 12 gauge wire for power and ground and relays for Hi & Lo beams. The light switch just triggers the relays. Works great.

Ian, I had Cibie 7” and found a dark area in the beam pattern that drove me crazy! Hence the Hellas!
