MK4 Roadster Heater / Defroster Install with Gen 3 Coyote

Looking for guidance on installing heater/defroster with a Coyote Gen 3 engine. Ive been told the Gen 3 is too big to use the FF Metal forward firewall, and that I should use the regular firewall and cut the vertical support in the frame under the dash hoop to accommodate the heater in the centre. I'm reluctant to do that - any advice on how to do the install would be appreciated. Thanks

I dont think the Coyote had any bearing on fitting the heater. In fact I think there is more room than an EFI 302. If you have a glove box and want to center the heater, then you will need to remove the hoop support.

Mike - thanks for the info. I guess alternatively I can sacrifice the glove box and mount it on the right side. What do you think about the firewall - FF Metal forward vs the standard firewall?
