I ordered the above energy suspension and two sizes came in. The short one keeps popping off the top ball joint. Curious on which one people are using for both to and bottom. 150325
I used the short ones -- no problems unless the suspension is at full droop.

I used them as they came.

I used the short one on top and the tall one on the bottom. Mine is still off the ground and at full droop and I trust, as Papa has said, that once on the ground it will be fine.

The top boot doesn't fit over and around the balljoint. It just pushes up again the bottom the joint. It works fine and looks good when the car is at ride height

Agreed. There just isn't enough height or lip on the bottom of the LCA for a boot to wrap around and be secured. Papa's pic is a perfect install. BTW I always use a red synthetic grease. It gets black w/ use, so when I grease, I keep pumping til the black pushout turns red and I know I have all new grease in there.
