My current engine configuration is:
1991 BluePrint stock long block with E7TE heads
1993 SVT Cobra intake with 70mm opening
BBK 70mm throttle body
19# fuel injectors
1991 stock ECU
Stock 55mm MAF meter
K&N conical air filter mounted directly to MAF intake
All smog deleted
FFR j-pipes and side pipes
When I installed the Cobra intake I also planned to install 24# injectors and a 75mm Pro-M 24# calibrated MAF. The folks at StangNet said that unless I upgraded the heads too, I would have drivability issues and would be wasting my money. I didn’t do it.
The car runs well, starts easily, idles smoothly and pulls strong in all gears but I would like I bit more power(Duh). Should I spend the $800 bucks to upgrade the injectors and MAF?
