Roadster Ride height

What is the baseline setting for ride height ? And how do you determine what is good / bad for your build ? 427W, IRS regular konis 17s 255 front 315 rear. Thanks Fellas.

I have same setup as you, I am about 4 1/8" front and 5 1/4" in the rear. I wanted at least 4" in the front to clear a speed bump, after looking at many different FFR cars recently everyone has there ride height a little different.

Front 4.0 inches and rear 4.5 inches would be a pretty conservative baseline. Some will run higher, some lower. Also depends on the age of your car. If a new build, you could start there but monitor. It will settle some.

I run mine a little lower 3 3/4 front and 4 inch rear. Note they will settle maybe up to 1/2 inch after driving 30 min so start a little high. Ride height can change the alignment. Get the ride height set then get a final aligment done.

Also, know that not all tires have the same diameter. So if you put a tire with a smaller diameter the actual chassis to ground surface (i.e. ride height) will change. I have 4 sets of wheels and tires. One of the sets gives almost 1/2" taller ride height than the others. That's not a problem, just something to know about. I set the ride height based on knowing they are different.

Mine is at 4 inches all around. The key to speed bumps isn't necessarily your ride height; it can also be a matter of where (relative to the frame) your bell housing is. As many others have done, I had to trim mine.

Mine is 4" by 4 1/8" Bellhousing is tucked but frame would drag on some speed bumps at 3 7/8"
