My name is Art.
I ordered the build manual and started planning to build my dream car in 1998. I wanted my "Cobra" to be old school which meant carburetor. So, I bought a clean '85 convertible in '99. I chose the '85 because it was a roller cam motor but still carbureted. While the dream percolated and I started to save for my kit, I rebuilt the 5.0 and have enjoyed driving it ever since. I was an aircraft mechanic for a major airline with not much seniority when 911 put a big damper on things. ...Long story, short... I have spent the last several years as a full time Dad.
Now that the kids getting to the age where I can think about getting back to work (great timing to be getting in the job market right?!) I'm ready to allow myself to dream once again.
