I purchased an MK4 kit (order #132754) a few years ago and went for first start last weekend. There was a coolant leak coming from the heater assembly and when I took the assembly apart there was a hole in one of the copper pipes in the core itself (see attached pics). The hole is tucked behind the plastic shroud so it looks like a manufacturer's defect. On the FFR website, the assembly is out of stock. Anyone know who I should contact to get a replacement heater core? Ideally under warranty but if not for purchase?

could you get that welded/ might be easier than removing the entire heater.

Already got it out and I'll probably try a weld but would rather replace it. Called Vintage and like everyone else these days nobody answers the phone. Left VM and email. Our heaters don't match what they have on their website.
