Build/Title in Hawaii?

Has anyone built and titled a car in Hawaii? We are looking to move there and my car should be just about done being built (except for body/paint) before the move, so now the trick is to determine if I should title the car here in Washington or Hawaii. Has anyone done the titling process in Hawaii?

I have not, I figured there could be some folks here who know more than the DMV. :)

I did do some research and I think the requirements are less and the sales tax would be less, so it almost seems like a better opportunity to do my initial registration in Hawaii rather than Washington.
