Here is Texas it's getting pretty hot and humid and my phone is whining about getting too hot and shutting down. It's not in direct sunlight, but it also isn't in an A/C environment :D

My phone is stuck on a magnet behind the steering wheel so I can see Waze or RaceStats or whatever, so I was thinking of cutting a hole in the dash behind the phone and installing a little fan behind it, like this DC 12V Brushless Cooling Fan (https://www.amazon.com/ANVISION-Bearing-Brushless-Cooling-YDM4010B12/dp/B0711FVD48/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=small+12v+fan&qid=1623617266&sr=8-5).

When not in use I can plug the hole with one of those 1.5" panel plugs (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077R25QQV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) I used to plug the hole in the hard top.

Thoughts? Seems this would be a problem in any FFR model so wondered if anyone had found a different solution?

If it was me, I'd give something like this (https://www.amazon.com/Sakuraclub-Cellphone-Radiator-Semi-Conductor-Streaming/dp/B08GY1MQQG/ref=asc_df_B08GY1MQQG/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=475856277502&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1158935357611120601&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9032142&hvtargid=pla-1116792554328&psc=1) a try before cutting a hole in the dash. I have no experience with this, but it seems like a reasonably inexpensive experiment to try.
